Unleash Your Inner Strength
Allow your breath to guide your practice, your body will follow.
Allow your breath to guide your practice, your body will follow.
It is my mission is to provide a safe, welcoming space, for all. The practice of Yoga nurtures the mind & body through your breath, and I am honored to be here to guide you through your journey.
Slow Burn - Strength & Flexibility
An intentional practice with a deep focus on establishing the breath within each posture. In a slow burn class we integrate breath and movement, inner and outer alignment & strength and flexibility. Slow progressive sequences and longer holding postures accompanied by steady rhythmic tunes, encourages the entire body and mind to balance, focus and calm.
Feel grounded & invite yourself to soften around the edges. All levels welcome, props are encouraged to allow the body to fully access each posture.
Vinyasa Flow - Flow & Fluidity
Vinyasa Flow is a creative class where postures are linked together and guided in a deliberate, one breath to one movement way. The Vinyasa practice becomes a moving meditation that creates strength, freedom and fluidity in the body and mind. Vinyasa links conscious breath with fluid movement. All levels welcome.
Yin - Restore & Unwind
A slower and more meditative practice, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both the mind and physical sensations of the body. Yin yoga targets the deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, and joints. Holding postures for 3-4minutes at a time allows access for space and to find stillness. Stillness of the mind and body.
Yin yoga increases mobility, improves circulation and encourages you to connect with your breath in a more conscious way.
Back in 2010, I first stepped into a hot and sweaty yoga room in Hermosa Beach California. Since the close of that 90 minute class, I have been dedicated to my personal practice and study ever since. In 200hr YTT, one of the first assignments was to answer, what does yoga mean to you? My answer: Yoga is home. A safe space to reflect, be compassionate and feel empowered.
In 2021, I completed the 200hr LifePower yoga training. I'm based in Boston, teaching around the city and virtually. My teaching style is a harmonizing blend of power vinyasa with an emphasis on slow, strong, deep breaths in each posture. Taking the time to breathe in each posture not only allows for depth and growth, but also allows the student to focus on the present moment, here on the mat.
Yoga is a lifelong journey and I am honored to hold space for you on your mat.
Official specs: RYT 200Hr ; trained in Ashtanga, Power Vinyasa, Meditation, and Yin.
